Traditional Qigong Routine for Enhancing Yang Energy and Unblocking San Jiao
This routine combines traditional guiding techniques with meridian theory, designed to boost yang energy and unblock the San Jiao. It specifically addresses issues such as energy deficiency, cold intolerance, and body weakness. Regular practice will promote vitality and help restore balance in the body’s systems.
Video Duration: 9 minutes.
Course Overview
1. Up and Down Movement (Increases Vital Energy)
Lift arms and press down while standing on tiptoe to stretch the Du and Ren meridians, unblocking the body’s energy channels and activating blood circulation.
2. Forward and Backward Tiptoe (Strengthens Waist and Kidneys)
Stimulate the Yongquan point and kidney meridian to strengthen the waist and knees, enhancing your body's fundamental energy.
3. Horse Stance for Yang Enhancement (Boosts Yang Energy)
Opens the kidney and governing meridians, expels cold and dampness from the body, and alleviates cold sensations in the lower limbs.
4. Tiptoe and Chest Expansion (Nourishes Kidney Qi)
Lift the heels and expand the chest, stretching the diaphragm and chest area. This movement promotes the flow of lung and kidney energy, improving respiratory depth.
5. Yang Ascending Jump (Enhances Physical Strength)
Jumping with arms raised accelerates blood and energy circulation, particularly beneficial for people with slow metabolism due to prolonged sitting.
6. Tiptoe, Backward Punch (Unblocks Shoulders and Back)
Tiptoe, step back, and extend arms to punch forward, activating the San Yang meridians and bladder meridian, relieving neck and shoulder stiffness, and improving cardiovascular function.
7. Tiptoe Hand Grasp (Strengthens Kidneys and Waist)
Stand on tiptoe while gripping the air to stimulate the Laogong point and kidney meridian, promoting the connection between heart and kidneys, and alleviating hand numbness.
8. Heaven-Pulling Assist to Rib (Regulates San Jiao)
Stretch arms upward and outward to open the San Jiao meridian, balancing the body’s internal temperature and relieving chest tightness and bloating.
